1. Are Advanta faucets lead free?
Yes. All Advanta faucets and parts are made to comply with this law, and all faucets have passed the AB1953 test.
2. Are these faucets for indoor or outdoor use?
Advanta faucets can be installed indoors and outdoors as long as the infra red sensor is not exposed to direct sunlight.
3. What aerators do you use?
Advanta faucets come with a standard 1.5GPM aerator.
4. When should I change batteries?
All of our faucets and flushers have a low battery warning. Please refer to the user’s manual for detailed information for each product.
5. When and how frequently should I clean the filters?
All Advanta faucets and flushers have a built in filter system. We recommend you check and clean the filter systems when there is a decrease in water flow.
6. How soon should I expect my on line order?
All products, unless specified on the web site, are in stock. We ship products no more than 48 hours after we received your order during normal operating hours.
7. Are your faucets repairable? Are replacement parts available?
In most cases, Advanta faucets have replaceable parts. Most Advanta parts are in stock and available.
8. How do I set the detection range of sensors?
Advanta faucets, flushers, and hand dryers are equipped with infra red sensors with micro processors. Sensor range is detected and adjusted automatically.
9. How do I clean chrome plated faucets?
Chrome plated faucets can only be cleaned with soap and water. Using abrasive and chemical cleaners like chlorine will dull the luster and void the warranty.
